I finally got to display my beautiful china in a china cabinet. The china was a gift from my sweet Aunt Anita. She gave it to me almost two years ago before my wedding and it's been boxed up ever since. I am happy to have it out!
This is me with my aunt back in August 2009 when she gave me the full set of china. I love the gift and the person who gave it to me!
This was back during Christmas in our old place. The mirror was originally gold and then I painted it green.....
.....but in our new home it is brown! I think it looks much better this way against the pale green walls.
This was last week in our living room and over the weekend I bought new pillows for our couch which are pictured below!
Above are picture of the house when we were painting over the yellow color that was throughout almost the whole house. It is now a clean and crisp green called "cypress grass" and I am in love with the color!
Before and after!
This is my dining room set that we spruced up! We recovered the chairs from the old and washed out white on white fabric to a fresh and colorful floral design. I love all of the colors that I can pull from the fabric. The green walls really bring out the green in the fabric.
I can't wait to tackle more little projects around our new home. Next on the list is planting hydrangeas, my favorite flower, in the yard and refinishing my old rocking chair. I'll keep you guys updated!
